    Anyone know this person? He or she is trying to break into my car unsuccessfully at 7:49pm, on Nov 25.
    He or she broke into a car across the street about 3 minutes later.

    Attention Police!
    Today December 27 at 4:27 PM, my surveillance camera caught these two kids stealing a package off my neighbor’s porch—two young people probably high school age, one female and the other probably male. The female wore blue jeans, a dark short jacket (or vest) with colorful red or maroon panels, down each side. Pinkish/lavender high top sneakers, and a white or light colored hat or bandana. She also appears to have her hair tied back in a ponytail. And it looks like she has a shoulder bag hanging low on her right hip.
    Gender is a bit questionable but it appears the other one is probably a boy in a puffy black jacket, skinny black pants, black or dark brown high top shoes and was wearing white earbuds with white wire and phone in hand.
    Anyone know these kids?

    This building has been abandoned and is rapidly deteriorating. The owner is listed as Scott Healy. He has apparently abandoned the building and it is now in danger of collapse. The city of New Haven must do something to avert this impending disaster.

    This standing water in the gutter refuses to drain and remains in the street days after a rain. This section of Howe Street at Whalley Ave. is lower than the storm drain at the corner of Whalley. The water pools in the street and has nowhere to go. Mosquitos, Zika, West Nile, etc. a serious health hazard!

    Every year we neighbors have to look at this overgrown lawn. and every year we have to complain. This absentee landlord simply refuses to maintain this property. Can the city fine this person for blight? Is there no ordinance we can use to make this landlord take care of this property?

    Evidently absentee landlords David and Jody Steinbach can't afford a lawnmower. Every year they raise a crop of dandelions and seed the neighborhood. This once lovely historic property was built by New Haven's first black dentist with Caribbean detailing that pleased his Barbados born wife. It is such a shame to see this property deteriorate to such a degree. Stucco cracking, roof leaking, very unkempt grounds and current occupants that don't care. The city of New Haven should fine these depraved owners for their irresponsible behavior
