    Someone has left a box of plastic bottles (motor oil or antifreeze) on the eastside of 75th Street SW. Unsure if they are empty or full, but most certainly hazardous trash.

    I recently heard that the Parks and Recreation Department will be taking over the northeast part of Tingley Drive from the BioPark. I understand that all the plants and trees are going to be removed from the median because it is too much trouble to care and maintain them. In their place will be concrete. I hope this decision will be reconsidered because what we don't need more of in Albuquerque is concrete. Those trees, shrubs, plants provide a lovely addition to the Tingley Beach area and give wildlife another spot in which to hide until they can make it across the much too rapidly driven street. More concrete brings more radiant heat. Please don't remove the plantings.
