This company, Alliance Carpet Cushion, hires QC drivers to idle their trucks for hours, sometimes at night. These trucks used to make noise, and the police department has even told me that there is no idling law for that truck because it needs to unload. That's the same story the truck driver told me, and now during the summer as I walk by the truck is off, and unloading the product. The Torrington Police Department, QC trucks, and Alliance Carpet Cushion are all liars! Still, despite numerous complaints and one investigation, the city of Torrington refuses to take action despite a lot of evidence.
