With the rains, deep rivulets and sinkholes are forming. It is becoming dangerous to drive, and also to walk because there are no sidewalks. The City needs to bring a truck of gravel and fill and smooth the roadbed.

There is no warning that traffic on Tompkins from the direction of Carson Street does not stop. Cars often travel very fast on Tomkins, and visibility is poor due to center median and foliage.

Crumbling jagged pavement Acknowledged4201-4211 Harbor View Avenue Oakland, California - Redwood HeightsThe edge of the asphalt on Vale, where the unpaved section of Harbor View begins, is crumbling badly, with large pieces breaking off. This is creating a jagged edge and rubble that could damage tires making the drop off the paved roadway, and trenches are forming in the gravel as wheels spin to get up over the ledge.
