It's becoming more difficult see traffic when exiting Grey Meadow onto Starr Farm Both directions are overgrown either with brush/weeds or branches
  • 1085 Pine St Burlington, VT, 05401, USA - Burlington Electric

I reported this back in 2017 (3967245 for reference). On the lower section of Pine, center lines were added down the middle (it appears). Previously it was stated this was done in error by VTrans and would fade out. They were recently repainted again.

This section is very narrow when cars are parked on the side. The line makes it challenging to navigate without crossing it which is easy to do but oncoming traffic is necessarily considering this. I've had a few near misses this past week on this section of road.

I think the lines are a great idea if they are well planned. Add in the parking area and move the lines over to accommodate traffic would be my suggestion. Otherwise, I think this is going to keep coming back.

    Thanks for your time.

  • Queen City Park Rd South Burlington, VT, 05403, USA - Burlington Electric
Coming south on Pine street approaching Queen City Parkway, it is very difficult to see the traffic at the corner. The weeds have grown quite high. Would it be possible to trim this area back from the road a bit to improve safety?

A construction barrel was in the middle of north ave for several weeks and maybe a month ago someone moved to the green belt. It has not moved. I suspect Dpw lost track of it and just needs to be picked up.
  • 1143-1149 Pine Street Burlington, Vermont - Burlington Electric

Recently (couple of months ago), center lines were added to the southern end of Pine Street. To my knowledge these have never been present until just recently. Since that time, this section of road has become more challenging to navigate. Given the new lines are in the center of a narrow section of road, any car parked on the side forces traffic over the center line. This is not often understood by oncoming traffic and I have personally seen many near collisions because of this.

What analysis went into adding these lines? Was it considered to make parking on one side of the road only and shift the lanes over so traffic can flow freely? Why were they added after years of not being present?

Please review the area and re-improve this section of road. Reach out to my contact info provided if I can provide more info.

  • 2-12 Loaldo Drive Burlington, VT 05408, USA - Burlington Electric
Appears the street was dug up at some point for work. The patch has sunk to make a pretty bad bump. Nice if it was re-patched.
  • Maple Street And South Champlain Burlington, Vermont - Burlington Electric
There is a single deeper pothole in the intersection heading towards Pine. Hit it every morning. Reporting to hopefully get it fixed.
