Do you regard this as an acceptable landscape for the Wilson Center. Is more work scheduled? If so so, what? If not, why not? Would you like this sight next to your property? For the past two years, the Wilson Center landscape has deteriorated. No stakes installed for snow plows resulting in extensive curb damage, Sidewalks at both entrances hazardous. Shrubbery dead or dying. Paving badly needed. My hope is that a major landscape renovation is being planned.

South entrance to Wilson Center looks disgraceful. Million dollar job on fields, property owners on both sides of the entrance spend time and money to ensure property values are enhanced, and the town can't or won't kill some weeds and plant some grass, or better still, install some mulch and shrubs.

Cardboard box contains label with name and Bloomfield address. This area is constantly used as a dumping ground. Maybe a No Littering sign would help.

Area cleared last year and then ignored. Area not maintained. Unsightly weeds, rocks, and litter. Not a good image for town or neighborhood.
  • Kings Landing Windsor, Connecticut - Windsor
Xmas tree dumped in brush about 50 yards south of entrance to Kings Landing. This area is rife with litter: broken bottles, fast food wrappings, etc.
  • Route 218 Windsor, Connecticut - Windsor
When travelers use exit 3 off of route 291 and enter Windsor to continue west on route 218, they are treated to an expanse of weeds 1 to 2 feet high. What an unwelcome sight. It has been this way for the 13 years that I have lived here. I have written the town manager and state representative. If this is a state responsibility, then get after them. It is a disgrace. If the state does do it, the town has a responsibility to make the area presentable.

Thanks to VOYA for clearing town land bordering Kings Landing. Kings landing spent a considerable amount of $$$ clearing their side of the border, planting grass and an irrigation system where before was an unsightly mass of vines and debris. Would the town now finish the job VOYA started and clear the brush and vines that are adjacent to and hanging over along the border closest to Matianuck Avenue. Thank you.
