  • Other Acknowledged
Jefferson Avenue And N. 23d Street Richmond, Virginia - Union Hill
The traffic circle at Jefferson & N. 23d is dangerous. Signage is badly needed, as many drivers (including buses!) do not yield even when other drivers are going around the circle.
  • Alley entrances Acknowledged
North 23rd Street Alley Between E. Grace & E. Broad Richmond, Virginia - Shockoe Bottom
The entrance/exits for the alleyway (known as the Mews) between N. Broad & E. Grace and N. 23d & N. 24th streets have become deeper gullies, which are damaging to cars navigating the route. Both ends-- especially the one on 24th-- are long potholes that are impossible to go around. This should be an easy fix.
  • 2300 E Grace St Richmond, VA 23223, USA - Church Hill
City sidewalk being obliterated by neglect. This walkway is necessary for getting from the Church Hill Old and Historic District down a steep hill to Shockoe Bottom.
  • 2310 E. Grace Street Richmond, Virginia - Church Hill
Sidewalk was torn up by the city for water system repair in June, 2016. The walk has still not bee restored. Bricks taken up and left by the side of the walk are being taken and some thrown in the street.
This has been reported twice before and "closed" both times (once-- incorrectly stating the location as Monroe Ward).
Surely, this can be repaired before closing the report this time.
  • 2310-12 E. Grace St. Richmond, VA - Monroe Ward
Bricks removed from sidewalk by city for water pipe repair 5 months ago. Sidewalk has still not been restored in spite of multiple requests. Area is unsightly and unsafe. Bricks piled up in front of home are beginning to disappear.
  • Richmond. Va 2300 block of E. Grace St. - Church Hill
Gas lamp in mid-alley (The Mews) is not functioning.
  • 2310-2312 E. Grace Street Richmond, Virginia - Church Hill
Part of the brick sidewalk was removed for city water system repair nearly three months ago. The bricks have been stacked up ever since, leaving them for the taking. The sidewalk is a mess and quite dangerous for walkers (right across from an elementary school). This needs to be fixed ASAP!
  • Between 22nd And 23rd Streets Behind Richmond Hill Richmond, VA - US Congressional District VA1
The brick and paved walkway leading from the corner of 22nd and Franklin streets up and around the hill to the corner of 23rd and Grace streets has been broken, weed-covered, and dangerous for several years (since the devastation of Storm Gaston!). It is the best route to walk to or from Church Hill and Shockoe Bottom but remains difficult-to-impossible to traverse. In addition, there are still large tree branches on and along the route. The stairway leading from 22nd and Franklin up behind Richmond Hill was finally repaired a couple of years ago, but the sidewalk remains an unsightly and perilous blight.
