Good afternoon traffic engineers. For traffic traveling eastbound Foothill Parkway, west of Lincoln Avenue, will you please consider a painted right turn lane (eastbound foothill to southbound lincoln) in addition to the two thru traffic lanes for eastbound traffic. It seems like the width of eastbound Foothill Parkway can accommodate a left turn lane, two thru lanes, and a right turn lane. The eastbound #2 lane is currently at a width that has had a lot of close calls with people lawfully making their turns from the right curb edge and avoiding people in the #2 lane making the turn from the center of the #2 lane. In addition when traffic backs up in the evening it will relieve eastbound congestion by allowing those that want to turn right onto Lincoln Avenue to make their turn and not back up traffic further. Thanks for your consideration, we appreciate everything you do!

  • 1020 Block Pomona Road (91 West Onramp From Lincoln Blvd) Corona, CA - Corona
At the intersection of Pomona road and 91 west onramp from Pomona Road (Lincoln Boulevard onramp to 91 westbound) there are two westbound left turn lanes to enter the freeway's onramp. The #1 turn gives the option of turning into the Hov lane of the onramp or #1 lane of the onramp. The #2 left turn lane intends for vehicles to enter the #2 lane of the onramp, but this is poorly marked. There is no roadway signage and roadway markings aren't clear. Too many people in the #2 left turn lane are cutting into the #1 traffic lane in the intersection, just prior to the onramp. At the very least there needs to be raised Botts dots/better roadway markings to keep motorists in the #2 left turn lane in the correct lane position through the intersection and guide them into the correct #2 lane of the onramp. Thank you.
