The potholes on SE 74th between Hiwassee & Henney are breaking up again. The patches are not staying and are causing a bigger problem. I'm curious as to when SE 74th will be resurfaced because it was on the 2007 City Bond Election as needing resurfacing which is on the same bond as the widening of Anderson Rd. and Choctaw Rd. It's nearly impossible to miss the potholes especially with oncoming traffic.

SE 74th between Hiwassee and Henney has an extreme amount of potholes. It is next to impossible to avoid them in day or night and causes a safety hazard to even try to avoid them. The road is hilly and you can't always see oncoming cars to avoid the potholes, so you end up driving over them causing major damage to your vehicle. Many cars now have low profile tires and rims are in excess of $500 each. My sons friend has had two flat tires in the past month coming over just from potholes. You have to fix the potholes at the very least. And...in the future, you need to resurface the road. It has become such a hazard to drive down this street. Especially the huge lot of holes in front of 13200 SE 74th and while you are at it make them pave their drive and fix their ditch so that it doesn't fill with standing rain water and flood the road with mud and rocks when it rains on top of all the potholes causing our young teenage drivers to lose control of their vehicles and hydroplane off the road....which has happened. Please fix these hazards so our children and families are safe.
