Bingham St Albany, New York - Second Avenue
The condition of this road was very bad back in 2014 when I placed the last re-pave request; but now it's horrible! The front lawns of the homes on this street are actually starting to take over the street itself (see picture #1). Much (if not most) of the street has been reduced to a sort of asphalt gravel mixture (see picture #2). Entire portions of the street have been eroded down several layers of asphalt (see picture #3) such that, in the winter, it is impossible for this road to be properly plowed (as it is not anywhere close to a flat, even surface). Hence large portions of snow/ice get packed into the gouges and remain there, unaffected by salting, making it difficult to even get home (as the entrance to the street has a brief, but sharp, uphill portion.) Only because last winter was so merciful was this not a huge problem, so please re-pave this before the upcoming winter hits!! It is a tiny dead-end road with each house on it occupied; hence it will be a quick and easy -- but an urgently necessary -- job. Thank you so much!

Everett Road Extension Albany, New York - West End
It seems every time I take this exit, there is nearly an accident; and often enough I see the aftermath of actual accidents here. There are two lanes in which one may take a left turn from the I-90W Exit onto Everett Rd Ext. There are no markings, however, indicating how these turns are to be taken. Consequently there is inevitably someone in the right-most left-turn lane who takes the turn by blatantly cutting into the left-most left turn lane. This is of course perfectly natural to occur based on the geometry of the intersection, which is why all such intersections are supposed to have clear markings throughout them indicating where exactly each lane is -- so that the drivers in the right lane don't accidentally cut into the space needed by those in the left lane. I am always in the left lane due to my route, and every time I take this I am almost hit by someone who does just that! Please put lane markings here. Thank you so much!
  • 106 Bingham St. Albany, New York - Buckingham Lake-Crestwood
I just used a heavy duty power drain auger to clear out 50 feet of drain line from my cleanout plug, which is itself only 35 feet away from the road. Nevertheless, my drains are still completely backed up. There must be a plug somewhere in the main line under the road.

It looks like a sinkhole that was filled with asphalt recently, but continued to sink. Much larger and more problematic than a mere pothole.

I wouldn't be surprised if someone already reported this one to 911. Majorly torn up section of the road on the entrance to 787 North from South Pearl Street.

The Green light on the Right-Hand Traffic Signal that is facing down the hill (Eastward) is broken. I thought I reported this last week, but I accidentally reported it one block away, at the incorrect intersection.

  • Garden Street & Frisbee Ave Albany, New York - Delaware Avenue
The route of Frisbee Ave up to Garden St, up to Oneida Terrace is a very busy route (due to it connecting the highway with downtown Albany/ Albany Med) as well as a two way street (not to mention full of potholes!) -- and yet there are no double yellow lines, or any road markings whatsoever, for the vast majority of it. I drive this every day and there is almost always a near miss since no one knows where their lane is.
