Dangerous Intersection Archived500-582 N 21st St Newark, OH, 43055, USA - Newark
There isn't a day that goes by when I travel south on N. 21st St where someone in the left lane believes it's a straight lane, gets under the SR-16 bridge and cuts someone off by merging right. I have been cut off dangerously many, many times and I have seen it done to others.
I propose getting rid of the one sign in red. Adding more pavement markings just beyond the light in advance of the ones there signifying the left lane is a turning lane and possibly removing the sign in green and hanging individual lane markers near the signals.

Pothole Archived1401 Mount Vernon Rd Newark, OH, 43055, USA - NewarkThere is an unnamed road/driving lane on the south side of the old Chesrown property. I spoke to the new owners, the Heath-Newark-Licking County Port Authority and they do not believe its theirs. This driving lane is pothole-ridden and needs some serious repair. Also, can it just be named? Derby Downs Rd is right across the street so why not use that and continue it to Mt. Vernon Rd? Even the Auditors Office calls it "Unnamed" (See attached pic)

Power Outage ArchivedN 21st St & Oh-16 W Newark, OH, 43055, USA - NewarkSince the storms the other day, SR-16 East and West (between the red lines on the attached pic) as well as the entrance and exit ramps, intersections (with the exception of the signals) and the lights under the SR-16 bridge have been out. Its VERY dark coming home late at night. Can you please investigate and turn on all those lights?

Bad pavement markings Archived1318-1346 N 21st St Newark, OH, 43055, USA - NewarkSomeone needs to re-do the pavement markings on the entrance road that goes back to Home Depot. In the attached pic, you can see (in red) where the "stop bar" crosses both the southbound turn lane/straight lane. In green, is the correct "stop bar" for the southbound turn lane. So, essentially the southbound turning lane has 2 "stop bars" as it is. This is bad for semi's that are traveling southbound on N. 21st St and trying to turn in to the businesses supported by this drive. Where the green box is, that is where the stop bar needs better painted (its faded now) so people know to stop there instead of pulling up to the street. The red box is where it looks like someone tried to remove the pavement marking but didnt do a good job. Please remove the section in the red and fix the one in the green. The current situation creates gridlock when a semi is trying to turn and someone is at the street.
