    nice pothole, cedar road. now my sister's brand new car has a flat tire. she can't be the first one to hit this, and incur tire damage. we know the weather has been crazy, but this is unacceptable.

    The traffic signals on Warrensville need to be looked at. I just came home at nearly 2AM, and the light for northbound Warrensville went through two entire cycles with Cedar before southbound Warrensville ever got a green. There was absolutely ZERO northbound traffic! Not one car. Clearly the vehicle detectors are not working at this intersection. Additionally, by the time I got to Meadowbrook, I had to sit for what was probably close to a full 1/2 minute waiting for a green because Meadowbrook had a green --- despite there being ZERO traffic. Clearly the vehicle detectors are not working at this intersection either.

    There is a nice gash of a pothole near the stop sticks but over the lane line just west of Warrensville. I realize the weather isn't yet conducive to proper repair, but a nice cold patch would be good.

    Shaker Blvd eastbound from Green to the Beachwood border. The RTA lot east of Green has lights; and the homes seemed to have lights, despite the early hour (5;45am). Actually, Beachwood has survived without streetlights on Shaker... why not leave them out? I'm all for reducing light pollution.

    About 4-6 street lights are out from Ashley & Shelburne to Belvoir & Shelburne. I obviously can put on my car's brights, but for all those early morning runners and walkers who insist on traveling with the flow of traffic and not wearing any reflective gear or lights, this could be a problem.

    Who designed this stretch of Cedar east-bound? Seriously. I got the green at Warrensville, and proceeded to get EVERY SINGLE RED LIGHT from Ohio Savings to Burger King to Miramar. It's late 2016. The modern world has timed lights so that traffic moves smoothly and efficiently. Didn't University Heights get the memo?

    Because of the way the light is timed (or not timed), the ability for Euclid traffic to turn onto E14th is virtually impossible because E14th's traffic onto Euclid blocks the intersection. Why? Because the light at E13th (or E12th?) is still red, and the E14th traffic cannot move any further on Euclid. Sometimes, the Health Line can't even move because of the gridlock. I just had to sit through 3 sequences before I could turn onto E14th. In this age of computerized/actuated signals, there is absolutely no excuse for this.

    The daily backup on Green over the Shaker Rapid Station is getting worse. Ever since the roadwork was done a few years ago, the left turn signals are pathetically bad, especially when trying to turn into Shaker East from Green South. Why paint a stop line but not bother to extend the vehicle sensors **to** the stop line? Has the city ever bothered to consult with Beachwood to find out how their signal programming of Shaker & Richmond is so successful? The only time there is a backup is during evening rush hour when there are hundreds of vehicles coming off Chagrin Blvd. and (ultimately) I-271. The intersections are similar....why does Beachwood's work, but Shaker's is so dismal?

    It's 20 degrees in January. No way should there be standing water at Shelburne & Landon in Shaker Hts. I can see water kind of bubbling in the middle there -- why isn't the water department here?

    Moon-like crater has appeared on Washington Blvd. I can't imagine the damage that has been caused to untold numbers of cars, but this is downright embarrassing.

    If Shaker would fix this entire street, from Green to Shelburne, *correctly* it would be greatly. If they would suspend the temp patching and the scheduled street cleaning (which routinely rips up the patches and exacerbates the existing potholes) then the funds would be there for the actual repair work -- nevermind how much we residents pay in property taxes which should be used for *something*.

    This sewer cover needs to be flush on the street. If Shaker fixes Landon, this will be taken care if. But if Shaker delays fixing Landon, this still needs to be fixed. When you hit it with your car, your filling rattle!!
