There are refrigerators, mattresses, toilets, glass receptacles, a television, and hundreds of household items including bulky furniture, on the sidewalk on the east side of the 700 block of 8th street NE. The dumping took place the afternoon of 5/24. It is hazardous to the pedestrians and there is broken glass.

Clogged catch basins in sewer drain entry -- northwest corner of 8th and G Streets, NE

The basins needs to be completely cleared as they are full of silt and leaf debris. I've cleaned the openings at the curb, but can't remove the thick mud deposited down several feet to the sewer opening.

This is a longstanding problem in which people who plan to continue on northwest-bound Washington Avenue and make a left at the next intersection (with 2nd St, SW) are routinely in conflict with people who ignore the left-turn only arrow painted on the street. The lane is supposed to end at the exit for southbound 695, but people regularly ignore this restriction and continue through to the next left turn lane. This causes every car who is doing the right thing to have to yield or conflict with those doing the right thing. It is extremely frustrating and dangerous.

A large supercan marked with "1521" was left in the middle of block -- west side of 700 b/o 8th St, NE. Overflowing with trash and is attracting other people to add to it. I found identifying papers in can from 800 G St and confronted hat neighbor, but they don't know whose can it is.
