Public Space, Streets and Drains Archived27 Morse Pl East Haven, CT, 06512, USA - East ShoreGood Morning, Morse place in new Haven was paved last week and I was told that the city would be coming back to fix any wide gaps left from paving?. The paving has left a *- 10 inch wide gap * inches deep between my lawn and the newly laid asphalt, this extends the length of my property. Will the city be repairing as I was told or is it to remain this way until the asphalt starts to crumble in from water undermining it. please advise if it cpould be filled back in again . thank you

27 Morse Place New Haven, Connecticut - East ShoreThe street has been cut up many up many times by the Gas Company and was supposed to be repave 3 years ago they keep telling me. meanwhile we are bordered by one way street on each side of us and we bear the bulk of the traffic between Woodward and Townsend ave. the crown in the road is so back that the area in front of my residence is settled so much it is washing away my yard, I have submitted picture after picture to the city and the Highway dept to come up with a fix, maybe curbs or at the least enough asphalt to built the road back up where it has sunk.
