    CB14:
Can we get an opinion on whether or not the banners and size of the signs and letters meet local law. They are huge and seem to display more than what is allow on a typical awning, per se.
We find the display to be an eyesore and detracts from the building. All three vertical banners on the North side are covering 15 ft windows .
    Thank you for your input.

This Green Street area cross from Capt. Oakley Square has a crushed/broken fence at the south side of the perimeter. Owners have been letting their dogs off leash in the area and tonight an off leash dog tried to attack my dog as we walked by. The wire fence needs to be repaired to keep dogs, off-leash and on, out of the space. Please facilitate the repair. Tonight I pulled the fence up as much as I could to deter entrance until the parks dept could respond to SR # 1-1-1081865891. Thank You.

This vacant property is a chronic site for overnight dumping. In addition the property owners fail to visit the property on a regular basis to clear dumped items or properly sweep sidewalk and gutter to 18 inches. The construction fence is deteriorating and 4x8 sheet wood panels obstruct the sidewalk at times when they fall off the frame.

Submitted a service request SR# C1-1-1016561251 on 9/24 only to be closed without correction. The box in the image was the basis of complaint and contrary to DSNY has not been cleared.
More item have since collected like the wood furniture and mattress. The image is from today.

SR #1-1-1016546321 (9/24) refers to the fence and was closed by DOB without correction.

To document chronic issue the following SR# refer to this property:
SR# 1-1-948445171 and other throughout 2013 and 2012 which are now unsearchable to me.

The green trash receptacle belonging to the neighboring laundry mat is part of the dumping problem. The area that it creates facilitates litter and garbage dumping along with public urination in broad daylight. Is it even legally placed there on a public sidewalk?

    Thank you.

Chronic issue with illegally street parked cars in marked "no parking zones”, some possessing handicap or city permits. This is not only disrupting bi-weekly street cleaning, but we are consistently finding these cars blocking access to our two driveways. We require 24 hour access to our driveways as they serve both residents and a busy medical office.

We under stand permits allow for parking during official business but the street and curbs often go without sweeping because cars will remain parked for days and even a week without moving. That does not seem to coincide with permitted use.

Other cars without permits place official orange envelopes under their wipers to make it appear the car has already been cited.

Please help get the area cleared of these vehicles on a regular basis so we may keep the properties clear of debris and maintain access to our driveways.
311 had been notified but the 70th precinct did not fully understand our complaint as a chronic issue. SR # 1-1-969376131
    Thank you.

Vacant property with non-respondent owners do not maintain this lot. Sidewalk and lot litter, waste, dumping, deteriorating construction fence. Local resident use the lot as an illegal parking lot. Multiple unresolved ECB and DoB fines. It is time for Community Board 17 to address this eyesore that chronically collects major violations in default. Thank you.

On the fence of decommissioned PS 90 are large posters/banners promoting music concerts and businesses.
As per DSNY rules §10-119, §10-121(a-e, g) these posting are illegal.
This is a chronic problem that has escalated over the past 9 months. Have file a previous complaint with DSNY which was cured but similar posters have since returned over time.
Please assist in not only removing the banners currently hung but in enhancing enforcement to improve the chronic situation. Thank you.

A clothing collection bin was place overnight on a public sidewalk in front of a vacant property.
NYC sanitation rules state "The placement of collection bins by any person, other than a government or governmental agency, or its contractors or licensees on any City property, property maintained by the City, or on any public sidewalk or roadway is prohibited."
The company registered to the number on the bin is a private, for-profit textile company.
Please assist in removing the bin. Thank you.
