    N. Jefferson St. Between Broad And Marshall Richmond, Virginia - Jackson Ward
There is an obvious sinkhole in the middle of this block of Jefferson St., right where it intersects the alley. There is already a cone on a section of the alley that has started to cave in, and there's an indention in the middle of the street that doesn't look good. This is a sure accident waiting to happen!

The drain at the SW corner of W. 25th and Stonewall is continually clogged. It needs to be cleared, and the dirt and gravel that have accumulated around it cleared (there's actually grass growing in it). It's a recurring problem in part because the sand and gravel in the alley behind my house runs to the side street and down the side street to the drain, clogging it. So that should probably be addressed to prevent the problem.

I have a small pile of branches and sticks beside the garage at the back of my property. I live on the corner of Stonewall.
  • 310-398 North Adams Street Richmond, Virginia - Jackson Ward
The sidewalk (public) trash cans at this intersection (NW and SE corners) are inadequate for trash collection. They are always overflowing, which is an eyesore and lead to further litter on the ground around the cans--and along the sidewalk a block in any direction from either of these cans. This is a high traffic area (vehicles and pedestrians) in a historic district (and the Arts & Culture District). One of the cans is right in front of a popular restaurant. I regularly pick up litter on the block and know some of that would end up in the trash can if there was space for it. The collection frequency needs to be increased, or different collection bins installed. This is a public thoroughfare with inadequate receptacles for garbage. One of the trash cans is also broken. Perhaps solar compactors could be installed?

Please pick up the fallen branches/sticks accumulated in front of the garage on Stonewall, behind 614 W. 25th St. just at the alley.

The stormwater runoff drain is clogged, and water is pooling well into the intersection of Stonewall and W. 25th.
