  • Long Wharf Drive New Haven, Connecticut - Long Wharf
Not sure why the construction signage changed along Long Wharf Drive, but the fact that 2 lanes will be turning into 1 is no longer indicated, and it makes for stressful and dangerous driving conditions. Also, bizarrely, an "end of construction" sign appears right BEFORE the construction area begins. Please help drivers navigate that area more effectively. Thanks.

The light goes off and on ALL NIGHT LONG. It is irritating, but, more importantly, it is dangerous. It would be nice to have a street light that stays on for the duration of the evening instead of flashing on and off every five minutes. This is my 3rd report in as many months.

This light creates dangerous conditions, especially for pedestrians, because it goes off and on without warning (or logic). I reported this problem about a month ago, but nothing has been done to correct the problem.

The street light turns itself off and on seemingly at random, although sometimes it seems as if it is responding like a motion detector. If, for example, the lamp is on, and we pull our car into the driveway, the light shuts off. The same thing happens if I come out onto my porch, or someone merely drives up the street--off/on, off/on. Sometimes it goes off and just stays off. Very dangerous.
