Car parked on wrong side of street during parking ban. The Peking bans cars parked on odd sides yet this vehicle is still here and was here during last snow storm. The plow driver does not plow properly because this van is in the way. Don't these vehicles get towed? Plow came by and only made one straight pass even though we are on a dead end cul-de-sac.

Our street has not been plowed since yesterday morning and cars are getting stuck trying to get out to go to work. Please make a note that Anthony Drive needs to be plowed as soon as possible. Thank you.

UPDATE: 7:47 a.m. The plow came down our street and did a great job. Thank you...this issue can be closed.

Anthony Drive is a dead end street. A snow plow truck made one pass down the street yesterday afternoon. There are two houses at the end of the street occupied by elderly people. Both driveways are blocked. There is no way for them to get out or emergency vehicles to get in. This is unacceptable. Previous years snow plow trucks (including the large ones) have been able to make the swing and clear the entire circle. Hopefully they can get to this street soon.

Kudos to the driver of plow truck number 53 on a wonderful job plowing our dead end street (Anthony Drive) during Monday's snow storm. Our street is a circle and there are elderly people that live in houses at the end of the street. I know it has to be difficult to maneuver the large plow truck around the circle. He really did a thorough job of clearing the snow...the best yet. It is greatly appreciated!

Attached is a photo showing workers digging the sidewalk in front of our house... at 6:30 this morning. This is highly in appropriate. The trucks were loud, they dropped the bucket of the truck closest to our house and the whole house shook. It woke everyone up.
We never received a notice that any work would be done...We just saw spray paint on the sidewalk one day and three days later the sidewalk was torn up. Perhaps putting a sign on the tree or pole in front of the house would have been a good idea. Or putting a notice in our mailbox? That work truck is extremely close to our car...They will have to move it when we have to leave for work. While I appreciate that the sidewalk is being fixed, I thought there was an ordinance that work couldn't begin until after a certain hour. I don't think 6:30 a.m. is the hour. They are making quite a bit of noise.
Please post signs when work like this is being done so we are aware and do not park our cars on the street. Also, perhaps they can fix the storm drain at the same time as they are fixing the sidewalk.

Attached is a photo of the storm drain in front of our house. The pavement is cracking around it and the hole in the front is getting larger. The storm drain across the street from us collapsed this past winter. Luckily there were no cars parked on it and no one was walking on or near it. I am afraid this drain is going to collapse like the one across the street. Unfortunately, we sometimes have to park on the drain or have to walk on it or near it getting in and out of our cars. I tried contacting the Public Works Department but couldn't get any answers.
