Canner Street And Whitney Ave New Haven ct - East Rock
On Whitney Avenue at the corner of Canner Street, on the side closest to the hill, the drains are not working properly. Over the weekend when we had a lot of rain, this created an enormous puddle of water that unsuspecting cars were skidding through. It was bad last winter too, so it seems this has been an ongoing problem. It's hard to tell if leaves are blocking something or if the drains need work. Please fix this before the situation contributes to a car accident! Thanks.

The League, the New Haven Preservation Trust and the Connecticut Trust are working together to preserve the handsome stone wall of the Grove Street Cemetery from being altered.
Individuals associated with the Yale's project to construct the two new Yale colleges on Prospect street want to alter the long wall opposite the University's science buildings to create what they believe would be more pleasant walk for the 800 new students moving to and from the core campus.
