Due to either sub-surface settling or improper engineering or grading not done to plan (and subsequently accepted by DPW), storm water collects in front of the curb cut in the cross walk. This is a significant inconvenience to pedestrians after storms (after the last storm the depth was 3-4", the width of the "lake" was almost as wide as the curb cut) and will be a liability to the town when winter comes and the water turns to ice.
The solution is to re-grade the corner to allow water to flow to the culvert located on Park Ave.
