  • 213 Gardner Street Raleigh, North Carolina - Wade
A lot of red clay has been eroding from a new construction site onto the sidewalk and Gardner Ave. An older house was torn down, and a new one is being built on the same site. Please have this erosion problem corrected. Thanks.
  • 322 Gardner Street Raleigh, North Carolina - Wade
Gravel and dirt continue to wash onto the sidewalk from the semi-circular driveway of the duplex across the street from the Raleigh Rose Garden. This is a recurrent problem that the duplex property owner needs to correct.
  • 3201 Wake Forest Road Raleigh, North Carolina - Falls Of Neuse
Sunken manhole cover has created a pothole in front of Day's Inn. It is in the right-hand southbound lane of Wake Forest Road just north of the Beltline (not the right-hand turn lane to the Beltline).
This has been there ever since Wake Forest Rd was re-paved a number of years ago, but it seems to be getting deeper.
  • Creekside Drive At Wake Forest Road Raleigh, North Carolina - Six Forks
Signal is cycling unnecessarily. Would normally stay green for Wake Forest Road until triggered to turn red by traffic on Creekside.

  • Intersection Of Falls Of Neuse Road And North Bend Drive Raleigh, North Carolina - Raleigh Council District A

Recent resurfacing on North Bend Drive has probably disrupted the normal functioning of this traffic light.

For many years it has been set to stay green for Falls of Neuse traffic unless a vehicle approaches on North Bend, triggering it to turn green for North Bend.

Please have this restored to normal operation and ease traffic flow on Falls of Neuse.

    Many thanks for your help.

  • 209 Gardner St Raleigh, North Carolina - Wade
Large sofa has been dumped on the sidewalk across the street from 209 Gardner St. Items are often left in the grass strip at this spot, but this is the first piece of furniture I've seen left here.
  • 416 Chamberlain Street Raleigh, North Carolina - Wade
Visibility to the left for a westbound driver on Everett Avenue at this corner is essentially zero. Overgrown vegetation at the house that faces Chamberlain Street at this corner has been a continuing problem for many years. Also, shrubbery extends into the eastbound lane of Everett from this property and impedes traffic.
  • 2612 Clark Avenue Raleigh, North Carolina - Wade
The sidewalk on Gardner Street is partially blocked by the growth of a large cherry laurel and by a smaller maple. This appears to be at the rear of the property of 2612 Clark Avenue. If not, it is on the property of the Raleigh Rose Garden & Little Theater. The cherry laurel has come up as a weed and should be removed completely. The maple is too close to the sidewalk to be allowed to grow large.
  • Corner Of Gardner And Clark Raleigh/Wake, NC - Wade
Very large limb has fallen from a maple tree growing in the strip between the sidewalk and street. Sidewalk is completely blocked.
  • Spring Forest Rd Raleigh, NC - Raleigh Council District A

About 8 or 10 years ago, a narrow median strip was installed on Spring Forest Rd, on the east side of its intersection with Falls of Neuse Rd, near where I live. As far as I can tell, this median has never been cleaned. Cigarette butts and other debris have accumulated to the point that weeds often grow there.

In the past, I have emailed about getting this median swept, but this hasn't been done. I know the budget is tight, but would it be possible to have it swept now and each time the rest of the road is cleaned? Thanks very much for your help.

  • Spring Forest Rd At Falls Of Neuse Raleigh, NC - Raleigh Council District A
There are two lanes turning left from Spring Forest (westbound) onto Falls of Neuse (southbound). The lane line between these two lanes is completely worn away within in the intersection, and cars routinely move into the adjacent lane without realizing it, causing a traffic hazard. This lane line was painted when the 2 left turn lanes were installed 8 or 10 years ago but has never been repainted. Please repaint this line and any others that have been worn away in this intersection. Thanks.
  • 2611 Clark Avenue Raleigh, NC - Wade
Shrubbery growing from 2611 Clark Ave (at the corner of Gardner St) is planted too close to the sidewalk on Gardner. It obstructs the sidewalk on Gardner St. Also fallen leaves and other material accumulate, especially on Gardner St at the rear of the property, and cover up to half the width of the sidewalk. This has been a repeated problem for the past 10 years. In addition, at the rear of the property, shrubbery (Ligustrum) has grown to tree-size, and the large trunks lean over the Gardner St sidewalk, forcing pedestrians to walk single file on the sidewalk in this area. These "trees" need to be removed completely, not just trimmed.
    Thanks.
