    Major tree branch from 479's backyard looks like it will fall off into 475's. This occurred on Thursday August 27th windstorm. Nothing has been done so far; perhaps the owner doesn't know? This is a hazard. Please have someone take care of this. Thank you very much!

    I'd like to know when the city or school board will remove "End of Road Work" sign and when it will move the bus stop back to its original location on the southeast corner of Orange and Bradley. Right now, both are in front of 475 Orange. All of the outside work and inside work that required large heavy equipment seems to have been completed at New Haven Academy. At least I assume so because the U.S. mailbox has been returned to its original location on the northwest corner of Orange and Bradley, and the striping has been removed that made sure that passing cars would stay farther away from the curb of NHA on the southwest corner. It must now be okay to remove the End of Road Work sign and return the bus stop to its original location, right?

    It looks like the construction gate for the new NH Academy building was left open. It's now bending top down into the pedestrian walkway -- and being bounced up and down by the wind to boot. If a pedestrian doesn't get hit by the fence itself, it's possible that s/he might get hit by a car when s/he tries to avoid a swing of the fence by moving into the street. I reported it to the non-emergency line of the police department, but figured it's worthwhile to have it reported here as well.

    We already called the PD, but thought posting it on SCFx would help find the perp. My wife says it looks like the pickup was coming out of a driveway across from us when it hit a beige 90s Toyota Corolla LE within a few minutes of 1:30 pm. She says she turned to see it when she heard the impact. However, she had me run out and a Good Samaritan in a black car had witnessed the accident and memorized the plate: 1CA601. The damage is relatively minor: a small dent in the passenger's door, but still... no note??
