  • Emerson Trail Road Heading South On Hwy #2 Grande Prairie, Alberta - Grande Prairie
When driving on Hwy # 2 heading south from Emerson Trail Road there are no lines that are visible. Also there are no black & white marking posts going into the curve on Hwy # 2 just past Emerson Trail Road. There are only 3 white marking posts left going into that curve for the last 2 years that we've had to drive on Hwy # 2 south. This section is very dangerous considering that our days are getting shorter & winter is not far away. Could you please look at this situation ASAP as this is not safe. Remember we're trying to keep our highways safe. Line painting is a major factor when having to drive in the winter's.I see lines that are not visible all the time on the highways .Why does the general public have to report line /painting issues ?? Why can't the city, towns or government vehicles report issues ?? It gets dark at 4:30 pm & no daylight until 8:30 am.

2 wks ago, i was driving on HWY 2 NORTH. It was early in the morning & it was still dark out. All of the road signs & HWY reflective markers are very dirty. Also the road lines are very faint & hard too see. There is a metal guard rail(which was extremely dirty) there just before hitting the railroad tracks. That early morning I ended up rolling my vehicle.I was only driving 70 km/h in a 100 km/h zone. It would sure be wonderful too see that these reflective markers be cleaned off & instead of having the white poles w/black reflective tape on top of them . To see put on yellow reflective tape.Alot easier to see as I have seen them in other parts on the HWY. I am lucky to be alive; as I've been told. Mild to moderate injury's.If you would have seen the mustang convertible that I was driving.you would think that I shouldn't have came out alive. For everybody's safety could you please fix this problem.
