  • Geyser Road Saratoga Springs, NY - Saratoga Springs
The bus stop on Geyser Road near the park is along a chain link fence. There is no bench there and no covered area for people to use while they wait for the bus. Often, they sit on the road itself even at night. This is extremely dangerous and will ultimately cause someone to get hit. I propose placing a lighted covered bus stop like the ones that CDTA has placed along Central Avenue in Schenectady, Colonie and Albany. This would make the people visible and would provide a safe temporary shelter as they wait. Currently, the stop is along the fence and there is no where for the people to wait safely. The other, cheaper but less preferred alternative would be to at least move the stop down the street a bit so that it is not along the fence. Sometimes, there are a lot of people waiting and they have no choice but to spill over close to or into the heavily trafficked Geyser Road. Thank you.
