Capacity Issue Archived2958 20th St San Pablo, CA - San PabloThe patrons of Kingdom Hall use this facility almost daily. The practice has been to double park while waiting for the gate to open (only 28 allocated parking spots and on street parking, which leads to partial blocking of residential driveways, and slowing down or blocking 20th Street waiting for access to the limited off street parking. My concern is on Sunday, Wednesday and Saturday when the facility is heavily used. I believe this building is occupied by patrons, especially on Sunday (during any of the three services that take place). It's a building code violation and I suggest, for safety sake this gets investigated.

This stop sign needs an update. It should be a STOP ON RED or Yield. 1) when the signal light is green and traffic is flowing, the STOP SIGN still requires a full legal stop before preceding north on San Pablo, thereby creating a potential traffic hazard, where traffic is flowing west from El Portal Dr to Broadway. Vehicles making the right hand turn while the light is green may not be paying attention and collide with another vehicle stopped at the Stop Sign. A "domino effect" can be creating with all vehicles traveling towards the intersection to make the right hand turn.
The Stop sign is otherwise fine when the Signal light is RED.
Perhaps an additional signal light is warranted for this location.
