This happens with any significant rain event - a permanent drainage fix is needed here

during the Fruitvale complete streets project construction there is a temporary walk signal button on the northeast corner of Fruitvale and Alameda Ave for pedestrians to cross Fruitvale, but there doesn't appear to be any way for pedestrians to call the walk signal to cross Alameda Ave, heading south on Fruitvale

pedestrian signal button on west side of intersection at Fruitvale and Alameda Ave is not accessible for people with mobility limitations, due to the Fruitvale complete streets project construction please either move the button so it can be reached throughout the construction activities or change the signal to a full recall walk phase with no button press required
