    The yew tree on the sidewalk next to the easternmost crosswalk on S street and 12th has a tree crown that is so low that you cannot see pedestrians who are standing and waiting at crosswalk if you are in a car at the stop sign on S street heading east. This is a crosswalk my son uses everyday coming home from school and I see cars regularly moving forward without acknowledging that a pedestrian is waiting to cross. Not only can they not see the pedestrian, the pedestrian cannot make eye contact with the driver. Please either aggressively prune the tree or replace it with a tree that has a higher crown. Please look closely at photo--my son is standing in front of the crosswalk on the sidewalk and he's wearing a yellow (pretty visible otherwise) shirt. You can see he is almost invisible because of the tree.

    The pedestrian signals on both the east and west side of 13 th at S street go red long before the car signal goes red. I know in the mornings this signal is set to have the pedestrian walk signs go green only when all vehicular traffic is stopped. But it shouldn't apply at 5:30pm

It comes far out into west bound lane and it is critical that parking on east bound side be temporarily prohibited to prevent dangerous backups at this intersection. Or remove the cage if the work has been completed.
