Illegal Dumping Archived2 Seaport Drive Vallejo California - Vallejo
Dumped on top of some kind of vault, I think. Terrible odor and lots of flies on whatever the material is. There is dirt and something wrapped in a black plastic spread in a 4 ft. diameter area. Really smells horrible.t

Street Signs ArchivedMoonraker Dr. Vallejo, California - VallejoSeveral of the street signs on Moonraker,Seawind, and Spinnaker are faded to the point that they cannot be read. The issue was the quality of the material used to make the signs. The shade side of the signs are good, the sunny side of the signs are not. The attached photo is an example of the issue.

Moonraker Drive Vallejo, California - Vallejo
Moonraker Drive is a one way street. Increasingly cars are turning of Seawind Drive and going the wrong way. There is a one way sign at the intersection, but the big white arrows that use to be predominantly displayed are faded from the roadway.
The people violating the one way are not the local residents but are commercial vehicles and people not familiar with the neighborhood . I think redoing the white arrows on Moonraker near the intersection might help.

Pothole Archived298 Sonoma Boulevard Vallejo, California - VallejoThese are not really "potholes" in the classic definition of a pothole. It is more like a series of speed "dips" in the intersection of Sonoma Blvd. and Magazine that cars crossing over Sonoma on Magazine have to rattle across. The "dips" run parallel to Sonoma and perpendicular to Magazine so the cars most affected are the ones staying straight on Magazine, not turning left or right onto Sonoma. I think it was just "poor paving". Kind of a shame considering the work recently put into fixing Magazine between Sonoma and Hwy 80.

Retaining wall collapsing Archived396 Seawind Drive Vallejo, California - VallejoThe retaining wall at the southern corner of Moonaker Drive and Seawind is continuing to collapse. This has been an ongoing issue. The angle of lean has increased after the rains. It is a danger to people using the sidewalk and especially children riding their bikes. When you inspect this you will see the obvious increase in the angle of collapse from when this was first reported.
