a pile of tree clippings has been left on the asphalt beyond where cars have access, at the horseshoe on the sharp curve on english drive. there are signs that someone tried to burn some of it. i thought it may have been left by the parks dept. but it has been a while and now that it is really dry and the temps are up, i worry it might catch fire.
also, probably unrelated- someone spraypainted "hate your guts" on a nearby rock,.

yale shuttle # 90 sped up to pass two cyclists ( on orange before the bike lane starts; there is not enough room to pass safely, but especially because we were passing a parked school bus). the driver was speeding too fast to notice he/she was ignoring a pedestrian at the in-street crosswalk sign, then ran a red light at orange and humphrey. (approx 11:50 a.m.) truly a trifecta of bad driving, if you will.

an illegal ATV was spotted in the parking area behind # 74 mechanic street. the potential rider was wheeling it back into the garage after letting it run for a while.

yale shuttle drove straight while in the right hand turn only lane through intersection of orange and grove. our car, travelling straight & in the correct lane, had to brake to prevent an accident. nearby cyclist forced onto sidewalk.
