this is ridiculous that i have to call in normally scheduled street cleaning the day of in order to get it taken care of.why do we have to alternate park when there's no sweeper to do his job.i called in last week to get it done last week.i was outside my house working on my car at around 11 pm and saw the sweeper sweeping going down bway right past emmet st.i continued to do my job thinking he was going to do emmet st. later.he never showed.the day of the call at approx.3 or 4 pm i called it in to be done.the person i spoke to was puzzled at why i was calling it in. i had to tell them that the sweeper hasn't been doing his job by purposely going by emmet st. this isn't a new request or that i'm just looking to have the street done on some random day-no i was calling to remind them not to forget my street.the next day i called after he didn't show up to ask what happened all she could tell me was that she put it on the list and that calling in earlier would or could get it on the list for that night.what? i don't have time to do all that, i work my own job and it isn't my job to have to call it in.this mayor sucks or something else is going on i don't know cause albany has become more of a rat hole city now than it was when i first arrived to it back in 92'.jennings was the mayor and things got done.we need to clean this city of all the crime,build up the condemmed houses and bring first night back to albany..besides all that this city has more problems than workers to get it done...covid is over, there should be no excuse as to why there aren't enough workers by now and that things will get done.week number 2 and it still hasn't been swept also cars haven't been ticketed for the wrong side of the street parking that happened on sunday but that is a different issue about the PE officer not doing his job either..

Blowing through the 4 corner stop signs like there's no tomorrow...cars,motorcycles,atv's.they will either fly south or north on pearl St at emmet st.at a high rate of speed not paying any mind of there being a stop sign.day or night but mostly late nights..

green lights are too blinding to see the road beyond along with the bright on coming traffic headlights.even on pitch black roads with no oncoming traffic it is so hard to see beyond the blinding green.who thought of this to design lights like this? isn't everything smart these days?smart phones,tv's,appliances,etc..so why haven't they figured out a smart intelligent light that senses day or night and adjusts to brighten during the day and dim at night?..leave the red bright always but the green has to be dimmed..how stupid!..

potholes there and sooo many other places.people are driving over the solid lines in places to avoid the holes coming into oncoming traffic.FIX THE DAMN POTHOLES EVERYWHERE!..the roads wouldn't be this way if your plow drivers knew what they were doing..they need a lesson over again.don't just drop the blade so hard and scrape the @#$% out of the road and salt the @#$% out of it too..there may be nothing on the road caust someone else came through but yet they grinding and salting the asphalt like there's no tommorow.there should be an inch or less of snow left on the ground and a salt/sand mix should be used over that.it will clear it up well,this way they don't have to put the blade all the way down.careless employees costing the city more money in repairs and people's cars get damaged in the process.

Cars go speeding through though pedestrians and animals could be just up around the bend.its time for speed humps be placed the length of this road..also sometimes people will be coming in the opposite direction deliberately even though the signs say very clearly 'do not enter'..very scary.lets prevent a tragedy before it happens.todays youth drive reckless even more so than when I was younger..these kids today will run Away from a hit and run rather than face the facts and they might get away with it due to the facts that there's no security cameras put in place either...

2 lights out on both corners facing each other.

after weeks of no one fixing the issue although it was acknowledged by admin and assigned to traffic engineering.a phone call into traffic engineering from my mother got the issue taken care of within 2 hours.i now report again that the bulb has either burned out again or that the control that makes that bulb work is malfunctioning.maybe the socket is bad or there is a short.the eastbound green light is no longer working again .

never cleared of ice and snow,it's piled deep on steps and whole sidewalk.no one ever takes care of the property.snow and ice in winter ,overgrowth and garbage in the summer...
