    Today I left a pile of FREE books in front of my house on Cottage ST. I left a wooden bookmark with a cat cutout in one of the books! This precious item was a gift from my husband many years ago.     Hi ~ Batman is a fearful cat (feral ?) that has been around my neighborhood for months. He took up residence in my yard in October. I had him neutered and given a rabies shot on 12/21 and let him recover in my basement for a few days. I let him out on 12/24 (He was desperate and I wanted him to go back out ahead of the deep freeze so he would re-acclimate to my yard and the little house I put out for him, which he had been sleeping in.) I have not seen him since then. I know he has other feeders b/c he did not keep a regular schedule in my yard, though he had been hanging out more and more. I am just worried about him and wondering if anyone has seen him. This is a pic from Google of cat with marking and coloring similar to Batman for reference.

    East Rock Alert: On my way to work I saw a deceased, young adult Tabby cat that had been hit by a car on Foster Street (I think between Willow and Canner). There was a turquoise collar with a bell next to him I moved him to the East side of the road and placed him in the grass near a telephone pole. This kitty looked like someone's well-loved pet, so please share and help his human(s) avoid the anguish of not knowing their cat's fate.

    Reward leading to Police location of an older model teal Impala or Grand Am) with a broken front light. Possible plate with the #/letters AU 5066. This person slammed into the back of my car while I was waiting to turn and took off. on 7/21 at 4:00 p.m. He pushed my car about 3 yards before he sped away.
