Alder Greenberg, Ward 8, reports that in front of 44 Lyon Street there is a large, city-owned tree growing around downed UI wires. The tree branches are severely entangled in the wires creating a serious safety hazard for neighbors and pedestrians. Please investigate and take any action necessary to remedy this problem, including trimming the tree and/or getting UI on the scene. Thank you.

Streetlight on pole #6738 on Ives Place is out and needs a new bulb. It is near Club Vandome and the light outage makes it difficult for customers to cross the street creating a serious safety hazard.

There is a street light pole at this location which an area resident has been paying UI to illuminate for the past 8 years. She would very much hope that the city would take over maintenance and expense for this street light as soon as possible. This has been a great hardship for her. Her efforts to have the city take over pole # 12565 are very much supported by her Alder, Aaron Greenberg.

City tree in tree belt area in front of 242 Wallace Street is badly decaying, branches are falling off and it's a real safety hazard for area residents, cars and pedestrians. The homeowner is Mary Torres, who can be reached at 203-530-2032. The tree needs to be immediately removed by the city Parks Department. Ald. Greenberg has already submitted this to the Parks Dept. as a priority tree removal. Thank you.
