Many years ago, the city of Huntsville tried to fix our driveway entrance on Speake Road in McThornmor Acres, to prevent our vehicles from dragging when entering our driveway. Over the years, the entrance has eroded, making a bumpy driveway entrance. Even worst, the carved rut allows for dirt, debris and weeds to collect. Is it possible that the city would once again repair this unsuitable street entrance to our driveway? Thank you for any help you can offer.

On the west Holmes Avenue overpass bridge, located over the UAH student walking path, there is a bad gap between the bridge and the street. The drop off is on the inside lane, going east, and is very harmful to vehicle traffic.

When is the last time that Holmes Avenue (actually all of it) has been repaved? The whole street from the East side to the West side is a mess and an embarrassment for the City..

At the intersection of Ivy Street and Triana Blvd, there is a large bush that obstructs the vision of oncoming traffic from Triana (south) heading north. The bush is located on the property of Landmark Reality. The large bush has been a problem for several years and the bush continues to grow. It is necessary to almost pull onto Triana before spotting oncoming cars that sometimes travel at a high rate of speed. Perhaps a major trimming of the bush would solve the problem. As it is now, it is very dangerous!

Many houses along Speake Road just will not keep their lawns cut. Most of the houses are being rented by UAH students and I guess the owners just to do care about the negative appearance of our street.

There is a large (and dangerous) pot hole in the center lane of University Drive, just before you cross over the Sparkman Drive Overpass. You cannot miss it!!! It nneds to be fixed immediately!
