    Please fill in the hole shown in the photo with loam. In its current state the condition poses a risk to pedestrians. The hole is almost a foot deep and it appears to be town land. Filling the hole might also slow further erosion. Thank you in advance. 03/11/24.

    Although I put this in the sidewalk repair catagory it's more of a public safety concern.

    On Winter St Saugus, opposite #165 there are 4 consecutive utility poles with no lights on them. It's not dead bulbs. There are no fixtures. This leaves a dangerous turn on the road very dark at night. Some poles may have recently been replaced and no light fixtures were installed. Thanks in advance for your help rectifying this now dangerous section of road.

    Please consider pruning back or removing overgrown shrubs / trees near the bridge where Highland Ave meets Vine St. The new growth now blocks a drivers view while entering the intersection from Highland Ave. Removing the view obstruction will make the busy intersection safer, especially when school opens and trafffic is heavier in that area.     Loose but still connected wires on ground at utility pole on Winter St Saugus. The pole is marked S3 over 54. Pole is at intersection of Winter and Nowell Streets. The wires do not to be dangerous but would certainly get pulled into the towns sidewalk snow blower going by. Please contact the utility company to have these wires removed. Could be Verizon...

    On Winter Street at the easternmost entrance to Riverside Cemetery. Leaves from the cemetery have blown out and now are in a huge pile blocking the sidewalk. Yesterday a crew was clearing leaves along the cemetery sidewalk on Winter Street. They neglected to pick up the leaves just beyond the end of the cemetery. This huge pile of leaves came from the cemetery and obstructs pedestrians from walking on the sidewalk. Soon there will be snow and the leaves will prevent proper clearing of snow by any sidewalk plow. Thank you for taking care of this.

    The light at Main and Vine St favors Vine St traffic heavily. When traffic is heavy Main St, traffic can be backed up for over 1/2 mile on either side of the light. The timing of the light should be adjusted so that Vine St traffic has to wait about 30 seconds longer before the underground sensor turns the light green for Vine. This would drastically improve the Main St flow while only increasing Vine St wait just a bit. As it is now, many people take Denver St to get to upper Main St to avoid the jam caused, in part, by a poorly timed light.
    When a car pulls up on Vine St, and the sensor is triggered, the light turns green about 17 seconds later. A slight adjustment to that time could save time and gas for those travelling main St.
    This change would also allow police and fire apparatus to get through Main St quicker as less cars would be on Main St in that area.

    When roads are considered for resurfacing, please consider resurfacing Ballard St. It gets a huge volume of traffic and is full of bumps and depressions, especially the eastbound lane. Thanks in advance. I know it's a big project however it's one of the worst main roads in Saugus.

    A section of the road on Ballard St, westbound lane, in front of the Fox hill Yacht club, seems to have been dug up for underground work and not sealed over with asphalt when the work was complete. There's a deep depression in the road that fills with water. This is more than a pothole. Thanks in advance for looking into this.
