The concrete slab is massively giving way here and has created a significant pothole with sharp concrete sticking out

This section of concrete began slipping years ago and was patched with some asphalt which also long ago failed. It’s exactly at the point where car and bus tires hit it as they turn, only making it worse. Would be great if it could be properly fixed with new concrete in that section, as was the fix at a nearby intersection just feet away at Bardeen and Toalson several years ago. Thanks!

The corner of this section of concrete in the middle of the road between 709 and 710 Newton Dr. broke apart at least a couple years ago I’d say and has been slowly getting worse, sinking lower. Difficult to avoid it, too.

Long barrow pothole along length of seam in the road. It’s right where tires hit it and it jostled the car as vehicles are turning from Olympian onto the southbound I-57 on ramp. It was filled last winter but has gotten gradually worse all year long.

There is a long narrow “pot hole” that has developed along a seam and it’s been getting worse. It’s right in front of the turn onto the southbound ramp to I 74. Vehicles that are on Olympian drive headed west going over the bridge to turn onto I 74 going south run right over it as they’re turning, making for a jolt and tires losing traction during the turn. Semi trucks constantly going over it seem to be worsening the issue quickly. This is probably an IDOT issue, but I don’t know where to report it.

Turn signal is facing wrong direction. If you are in the eastbound lane on Bloomington Road to turn north onto Mattis, the stop light is turned facing almost north. There are no lights out, it’s just that we turn signal has either been hit or blown by the wind so that it’s almost not visible.

The concrete expansion joint has been crumbling for a few months and is continuing to get worse. The rest of the street is fine, it’s just this one joint.

This may not quite be pothole repair, but close. Where the railroad crosses Springfield, especially going west on Springfield, but really both sides, there are not only chunks of road missing along the tracks area but also chunks of the rail line missing! It’s been this way for a long while and only getting worse. Hard on vehicles and I would think dangerous for trains and cars near a train when it’s crossing. I will try to also report this to the Illinois Commerce Commission’s Rail Safety.

Lights are flashing red after storm

Couple of recent potholes here after recent repaving. This has been a recurring problem even a few months after filling them. Why not CONCRETE this small area of the intersection that's constantly getting potholes and ruts? Cheaper long-term and less constant headache dealing with it.
