The car does not park there everyday. It is parked there several times a week. The owner circumvents police action by not parking on the street. I suggest checking again a few times.
I checked the building this morning the two earlier tags are still there and HAVE NOT been taken care of. Please resubmit for removal.
This issue has not been fixed. Why?
Could you please have someone explain what is an accumulation of trash? When this picture was taken there were piles fo wet trash in and around the property. Are there certain measurement that define an accumulation of trash?
Since the city sees no violations after I have repeatedly pointed out an obvious reoccurring problem and the tenant/property owner is doing nothing how does a citizen deal with the issue other than having to pick up the trash when it blows onto their property several doors away?
The city must do something regarding the continuing trash problem along West Broad Street, between the Boulevard and the DMV Drive area. You can go several blocks in either direction from this area and see for yourself. In fact I invite you to walk with me and I will show you the problem area..
Why is the West Broad Street. Fan area neglected when it come to trash. A little further east you have city employees who pick up trash daily. the city must either enforce the residents/tenants to pick up there trash or provide the service.
This is not the service that we expect from the City of Richmond.
The trash was located in front of 2701 West Broad Street and 2703 West Broad Street. That would be at the intersection of Mulberry and West Broad St directly across front he the Children's Museum of Richmond.
I will be happy to meet someone and show them if they can not find it. May I suggest purchasing a map of GPS to find the location.
The trash problem along this portion of West Broad Street is horrible. The businesses that generate this problem should be held accountable as well as being required to clean up the area surrounding their business as required by city code.
It is a shame the first thing people see when coming into the city is this type of problem.
This still happens almost on a daily basis at this location.
No this issue has not been fixed. The sad part is the property owner is too lazy to do anything about it..
Landlords in the city would be smart to provide bike racks. Most likely the bike is stolen. I see this quite frequently in the Fan. I am sure there is something in the city code to address this. Getting the city to enforce it is another issue.
I agree, I know the C-MOR and Science Museum will support our efforts. The city can provide this service downtown, why not here.
Perhaps we need to hire someone who just goes around this area picking up trash like they do downtown?
What is the reason for not making the property owner clean up their property? the City Code says they are responsible.
I understand you, no one is willing to take responsibility of the situation. So how do we change the cycle of people disposing of trash where ever they fell like?
Thanks for not accepting responsibility for enforcing your own City Code.
At least you could have had someone contact me and let me show you the entire problem in our neighborhood.
