INSPECTED THE AREA, THERE IS A TREE ON 1232 NE 185TH ST THAT HAS A BROKEN TOP. THAT MUST BE THE TREE OF QUESTION. I MEASURE THE TREE FROM THE ASPHALT EDGE IT WAS 15FT. AFTER REVIEWING AND MEASURING ON THE AERIAL MAP I FOUND THE PROPERTY LINE WAS APPROX 13FT FROM THE ASPHALT EDGE. SO THIS IS A PRIVATE PROPERTY TREE.
THIS IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE PRIVATE PROPERTY OWNER. THE TREE IS NOT AN EMMINENT HAZARD. THE TREE APPEARS TO BE DESEASED BUT IS NOT DEAD.

I spoke with our Parks Maintenance Superintendent. We do not use pesticide in the City. We also do not remove tent caterpillar tents from tree. They are not a danger to the trees or the wildlife.

Do you mean 185th on Aurora Avenue? Or is it at 175th and Aurora by the Walgreens? If the tree is located on private property, we will have to ask the store to remove the nest.
