  • Marinello Ter & Summit Ave Albany, NY, 12209, USA - Delaware Avenue
Someone (or more than one person) is driving recklessly and keeps hitting parked cars. My parked car has been hit in/near this intersection three times in the past two years. (Once it was totaled.) One of the people in one of the two-family houses across the street said every single adult living in that building had had their parked car hit. No notes left. Another resident on the street had their parked car totaled as well. The car that totaled my old car was grey/silver, since it left debris on the ground. Marinello Terrace is two blocks long; one end intersects with Delaware and the other end of the street is a dead end. The intersection of Marinello and Summit is in the middle. The car that totaled my car was driving out of the dead end area. Someone else on the block heard a rumor that a BMW that parks in the dead end area drives really fast and habitually ignores the stop sign. Maybe that's accurate, maybe it isn't, but there's been at least 8 incidents of collisions with parked cars in the past 2-3 years, maybe more. Can the city install a camera or keep watch? A lot of times the collisions happen overnight.

Myrtle Avenue From West Lawrence To Ridgefield Albany, New York - Central Avenue
Multiple really deep and/or wide potholes over two blocks - a LOT of them.
  • 28 Mckinley Street Albany, New York - Albany
The approximately south side of the traffic light at McKinley and Lincoln shows no lights. When you drive on McKinley towards Central Ave, this is the side of the traffic light you see when approaching Lincoln Ave. The green light on the east side of the light works - not sure about the other two sides. The McKinley side is broken though.
  • 381 Sand Creek Rd Albany, New York - Albany County

Vehicles leave Hackett Ave and turn onto Sand Creek Rd when exiting Colonie High. There are 2 lanes, a left turn only lane and a right turn only lane. However, if you really want to you can go straight - this leads into the parking lot shared by a few small businesses. In other words, it is possible to have a green light, and a road leading straight ahead into the parking lot entrance, but neither the sign on your lane or the sign on the lane next to you permit you to go straight. This is a unique design.

I'm not sure if this is the city's jurisdiction, Hackett Ave goes through Colonie High grounds and maybe Colonie High makes the decisions about the road or something. But someone ought to fix this because it's really confusing.

  • Fuller Rd & Railroad Ave Colonie, New York - Albany County
Drove through this intersection about 11.30pm (Tue May 21), the traffic light was completely dark in all directions.
  • Intersection Of Central Ave And Everett Rd Albany, NY - Upper Washington Avenue
Cars turning LEFT onto Everett Rd from Central Ave repeatedly run the red lights, sometimes 4 or 5 cars in a row. This is due to bad design, it is really hard to turn onto Everett from Central. It is also almost impossible for pedestrian traffic to cross Everett Rd at this intersection, as their green lights are entirely taken up by people turning left or right onto Everett.
