    This area has been a disaster for I would say years! I sometimes take this shortcut off Forbes Ave. to get to Woodward Ave. faster. I have not been this way recently, but I would bet there’s more trash there. The weeds are a disaster also!

    I am not exactly sure who is in charge of the Wooster Square dog park on Union Street right across the street from the firestone store, but the sign with details about the park looks like it was broken out of the ground by looking at the bottom of the pole.     What looks like a small pothole, which it is, it's still big enough for someone to trip and fall like my neighbor just did as she was putting her son into the SUV and talking to him. She didn't see it and fell right on her knees and scrapped her knee.

    The patch in front of 634 Woodward Ave. is SINKING again. It’s bad enough when the manhole covers are not even with the street that I try at all costs to avoid them for fear of ruining a $400.00 tire by getting a bubble on the sidewall! A sinking road can be fixed. I imagine sinking manhole covers can also be fixed, but that would require more work!🤬🤬🤬

    Is there any money in the budget to pave some of the major streets in the downtown area? For beginners, Wooster Street is a disaster. Crown street from beginning to end needs repaving. Chapel Street, from upper chapel to maybe Wooster Pl. could use some help also. I cannot give you exact locations, but if a supervisor drives the streets they will see what I am talking about. This is not a great way to welcome visitors to New Haven by bouncing all around in their cars.

    Is it absolutely necessary for 24 hours a day the walk light has to go on at the corner of Townsend Avenue and lighthouse Road? It is not a heavily traveled area for pedestrians at all. It is a waste of gas and a waste of time to sit there and wait for that to change. For the longest time it was working great because it only went on when somebody pushed the button! Now, it’s back to automatic again. Really! Somebody could push the button with their elbow if they want to cross the street.

    Several MONTHS ago a sign was put on this tree for the first time despite having been reported for at least 2 years. I don't think it can wait until next Spring to be cut down because it is in imminent danger of hurting someone or damaging someone's car. It won't let me download more than one picture? There was debris in the street also!

    There is a rather dangerous half dead tree that really needs to be cut down before winter comes because either someone's car is going to get damaged or someone is going to get killed when dead portions of the tree come crashing down across wires. The city has cut down trees that were healthier than this one. I did call months ago to have Fernando I believe the tree expert come out and look at it I left my name and telephone number and no one ever called me back. It's very difficult to reach anyone in the city of New Haven always seem to get a recording and no one ever returns your call !
