  • 6301-6903 Shaker Drive Columbia, Maryland - Columbia
Heading down Shaker drive across 32, the sign showing with arrow you can turn right to get on 32 (and also to 95) is missing.
People either turn left (not knowing it is a clover leaf) which is a dead end or; drive up Eden Brook and make a U turn. Either way, they miss the turn and end up going across 32 and making a bunch of U turns trying to find the entrance.
Before crossing 32, there is a 32/95 sign directing across 32 but, then, nothing!
    THAT SIGN IS NEEDED!!
  • Interstate 95 Halethorpe, Maryland - Arbutus
(Note: I put the marker on the satellite view to be more accurate so, view location with that.)
Over the past few months a large pot hole is forming at the foot of the Patapsco River bridge on i95 North bound. It is in the right lane toward the right side. If your right wheel hits it at 55-70 mph, the vehicle is hard to control.
    It needs fixing.
  • Metropolitan Boulevard I195 Southbound Exit Lane Before Exit To I95 Southbound Arbutus, Baltimore County, Maryland - Arbutus
Off Rolling Road onto i195, along the right lane which you enter to exit onto i95 Southbound, the road has some BIG dips and humps. They are so bad, one could loose control of the vehicle. It looks like the bed under the concrete road bed has dropped and raised. This is an all year problem.
  • 1110-1198 Hubner Avenue Baltimore County, Maryland - Catonsville
Decades ago, as told to me by my former county representative, the county tried to save money and sprayed liquid asphalt on Hubner Ave from Beaumont to Glenmore. They admit, it was a big mistake. It seems to “fix” it years ago, they just paved over it. But In the long hot Maryland summer, the old asphalt under the paved hard surface oozes out and causes a horrible sticky mess in driveways and along the road and curb. This section of road needs to be GROUND DOWN past the asphalt disaster and repaved. Inexplicably, the county DID repave the other half of Hubner but did not take the opportunity to redo the WHOLE street!
Update: with the high pressure gas line install, the whole street, even recently repaved parts, look like hell. So we are all hoping the plan is a repave of Hubner when the gas line install is finally, finally finished.
But, none of us are betting on it…
  • Metropolitan Blvd Arbutus, MD - Arbutus

Exiting off interstate 95 to 195, there is a bridge ramp just as the exit hits 195. The seam between the curved bridge ramp and the ground has bunched up causing a speed bump of compressed asphalt. Even at the recommended ramp speed of 35 MPH (which no one does), when you hit it, it feels like you are driving over a small curb.

Also: a bunch of aluminum railing was stolen all around this freeway interchange.

Repair crews are working on other sections of this roadway but, not this off ramp problem!

  • Hubner Ave Catonsville, MD - Catonsville
In an homeowners meeting a few years ago, I was told Hubner Ave was going to be repaved. Many years ago, the county said they used a bad technology (to save money) in repaving Hubner. It failed. Causing big globs of tar to remain at the edge of the paving. In summer, the globs of tar stick to your shoes. It is just gross. The county rep said it was their mistake. They would 1) clean it up 2) eventually repave Hubner properly.
    It still remains un-repaired!
