Please be vigilant and on the lookout--man going door to door claiming he needs us to "vote for him in his job program." brown/khaki pants, cream top, tall, thin, african american. Police have been called by a few neighbors. he tried to get money out of one and she was out of cash, yet he wouldn't leave her alone & she got very uneasy. I asked who he was with and he started coming at me. Didn't care i had 2 pit bulls (rescues, adopt don't shop!) in the house with me, which usually means drugs. Sober people are intimidated by unknown barking dogs.

This company's construction equipment is beeping all day every day--including at 8 a.m. on Sunday right now which is ILLEGAL. The noise is driving us insane and is caused partly by workers who do not know how to properly operate the machinery. They move the machine and beep it all day long. INCLUDING SUNDAY 8 A.M. on mother's day. This is out of line and these people need to be brought into line!

(carrying this comment, which was left by another user last week, over from acknowledged to fresh):" We have a car alarm going off frequently in this area - both day and night. Police have been called, but could not do anything. Notes have been left on windshield. Out-of-state plates, Michigan. I understand car alarms often hit 125 decibels, well above the city ordinances of 45-55 decibels. What would be the next step? Thanks."

The new laundromat at Howe is very nice, but right now there are 3 screaming kids running around unsupervised in the parking lot, which shares a larger lot with endless residential windows overlooking the business. People park there and use the lot as a playground, office, and nightclub ALL THE TIME while they wait for their laundry. This business needs to take responsibility for its customers' behavior. No kids running around and yelling and screaming. NO opening your car door and letting it blast as you wait for your laundry. No more loud BORING cell conversations as you lean on your car and have a one-man party in this parking lot. I am sick of this disturbing my peace in my home. a parking lot is NOT for loitering.
