The length of Daggett between Congress and Washington is strewn with trash to the point where it looks unsafe/unhealthy. Some of this is just how things happen, but also, many residents of the street do not use garbage bags and very often all trash can contents do not make it into the sanitation trucks on pick-up day. Right now, it's really bad. Bill Armstrong- acting manager, Wilson Library Branch

Staff driveway entrance at the New Haven Free Public Library. There is large pothole on the right side of the driveway that is putting the hurt on city vehicles (two library vans) and municipal employee cars. Show us some love! :-) Thanks.

Potholes and large strips of degraded asphalt from Ridge to Waite are a danger to pedestrians, cyclists, and drivers. Windows rattle as large trucks drive through them. Please fix.

Large strips of asphalt along the Turnpike and turning into Waite st. are degraded several layers deep. Pub works came by with cleaners and vacuum truck a few weeks ago, each truck made several passes; two days later asphalt chunks & gravel all over the place again. This road is patched yearly from Davis to North Haven & the patches don't hold. Since this road is heavily used by dumptrucks, semis, fleets of school buses, and rush hour commuters, maybe it is time to finish the repaving begun several years ago. The temporary fixes are simply not working and cars and pedestrians, and children are getting sprayed by gravel by passing vehicles.

Usually this street gets patched every year as the heavy, Yale through-traffic construction trucks tear up the street as they barrel their way into New Haven and back. This year it has not been patched. Please patch as the traffic has worn through two layers of asphalt and the speeding traffic throws gravel and standing water onto adults, children, bicyclists, cars, etc. using the sidewalk and side of the road.

For years we have waited for high-speed Internet to be installed at the library branches. What on Earth could possibly explain this delay?
