Can someone please fix this department?

It is the City of New Haven's responsibility to issue residential parking passes prior to their expiration.

The staff in the office of Transportation, Traffic, and Parking are ornery and combative on the phone. In person they are slightly more personable, but still offer incorrect advice. I was advised (by their staff) to contest the ticket issued by Traffic and Parking, as the City had realized their error in mailing permit applications late.

Nice trick on their part! After rejecting the "not guilty" plea, the fine was doubled. Sneaky way to increase revenue!
