So, not this go-around since it is going to warm up next week and probably melt all the snow, but I was wondering why the salt truck came by last night down Rhoten, turned around at the end and never did go down either side of Robinson Court?

Can you tell me when the new transmitter for my water meter was installed? Just curious since we didn't notice anyone at our home at all at the appointment time. Thank you.

Attached are three screenshots from January 2, 2024 from the online system, 6:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. The 6:00 a.m. one shows a consistent 3 gallon usage from 1-5a.m., while the 1:00 p.m. usage indicates a 2 gallon usage during the same time frame. The 10:00 report shows a consistent use of 2 gallons of water from 1:00 p.m – 6:00 p.m. the time that I had the water shut off at the water meter because I was replacing the shut off valve and flapper on one of my toilets! There should be no water usage reported during that timeframe. I had faucets opened and drained during this time and there was no water running! This makes zero sense. I have other examples of inconsistencies but thought that these were the most glaring, especially when usage is being reported when the water is shut off. Would like to get some feedback on this.

Need some advise. Despite the fact that I have spoken with this neighbor four times last year and once this year they continue to shave my grass causing unnecessary weeds, etc. I once again spoke to the owner today after they are clearly making an effort to now mow a full mower's width onto my grass. What would be an appropriate way to address this should they do it again, which I have NO doubt that they will. The property line is clearly indicated by the upright fence pole on the left. TIA.

There is a rather large dead groundhog on the curb on the south side of Rhoten.

Just noticed that there is a huge branch from a large tree from my neighbor's yard (who is behind me) that must have snapped during the snowstorm in March and is caught and dangling in the wires running behind my house. It is rather large and the end that snapped is large in circumference and caught in the wire. That and the grape vines that are growing along all the wires might be a hinderance to the wires in the future. Can anything be done about this?

During the last snowstorm (March 3-4) two large branches got snapped off the Cyprus tree in my backyard. Just wondering if the city is offering any services to chip something like this up if it was put out to the curb? TIA.

I read another's post regarding the length of time that it was taking to get their dog license processed (4-5 weeks?), and they claim that they received a $650 ticket as a result of not having a current license. I decided to look and discovered that my dog's license expires March 31, 2023 and I have yet to receive any paperwork to fill out to send in. Have notices even been sent out? Wondering how I should proceed with this issues. TIA.

Not sure why mine is the only one with a 3 foot high pile of snow in front of my driveway, the fire hydrant isn't blocked quite that high, after the city truck just came and plowed, my other neighbors don't have that piled in front of theirs that high, next door was easily able to drive into theirs just now . Please send someone to at least clean out in front of the fire hydrant.

The piecemeal repaving of Ryan Road from 14 mile to 15 mile roads has been completed some time ago. Now I am wondering when they are going to come back and paint the line markers where there are none? There are portions of the five lanes that have no markings whatsoever.

Who is responsbile for the dangerous situation in the right lane of Metro Parkway going East right before Ryan? There are a ton of deep potholes causing traffic to back up since you can't go over them over 1 mile per hour. I would hate to be the person that hits one of those at 45 mph. Thank you.

Just saw a salt truck leaving the Court, I assume that he was dumping salt. Now there is a city (small) truck plowing the Court. I appreciate the efforts to get the snow removed, however, isn't this backwards?

Is there a way to search all reported issues based on either address or issue? I have attempted to use a couple of the search features and come up with nothing. Thanks very much.

I want to acknowledge our great Animal Control people. I didn't catch the person' name that came out and safely and humanly got a skunk out of my garage that had taken residence for almost 24 hours under my vehicle! I really appreciate the effort and care this person rendered. Thank you very much!

Not sure how these notifications are being affixed to residence that don't clear their snow. Found this one under the snow in my driveway that fell overnight. Prior to that my snow was all cleared from the last snowfall so this wasn't meant for my house.

Instead of showing the actual service dates of 04/18/2018-07/17/2018 on this example of the online water bill, it is showing 10/6/2020-10/6/2020. This is true of every bill online, they all have 10/6/2020. Would be nice if they reflected the actual service dates.

This is in regards to the new account number on our water bills. My credit union indicates that I am setup for automatic withdrawal from the city of Sterling Heights. I take that to mean that there is nothing that I have to do in order for future automatic payments to be made, is that correct? Thanks.
