    Sir, I understand the bridge on Waters Road over the Long Creek is being replaced. The area is quiet and residential with many houses adjacent to the road. The posted speed limit is 30 mph, but most of the vehicles travel at 50 or even 60 mph down towards the creek. Many are here for the thrill of speeding (including bikers) and it is major noise issue (and safety as well).
    We strongly request the City to add a speed control (a bend or a hump) at least on both or north side of the bridge (this could be included with the bridge construction). Several other streets (Barnwell, Buice, Sargent) have similar controls, and the Waters residents would be much obliged to the City administrators.

    Hello, Sir,
    The posted speed limit is 30 mph, but the typically the traffic zips by at 50-60 mph, due to downhill grade either side of the Long Indian Creek. This causes safety and noise issue. Adding a speed display radar didn't help. The whole Waters Road is residential, there are several houses right next to the street. We would like to request making a mild speed breaker 50 yds either side of the creek. This is a relatively very economical solution. Buice is a parallel street, and there are speed controllers on that street too.

    Long Red Light. Left turn from 400S Exit 8 towards Park/Ride around 6:15 am. It takes so long for light to turn green that many people miss the bus or vanpool. Thanks. Vick
