The street lights are malfunctioning again at the corner of Jefferson Ave and Jefferson Terrace The light at Jeff Terrace is flashing red The light at Jeff Ave is permanently red This specific malfunction has occurred several times over a period of weeks Please troubleshoot and identify the core issue causing this problem to periodically occur Please implement a permanent fix Otherwise cars may assume these lights are simply broken and run through the red light even more frequently than they do now School children are walking to school during this time of the morning Many parts of Jefferson Park don't have sidewalks so children are walking in the street Residents requested speed bumps more than 5 1/2 years ago and despite fulfilling all City of East Point requirements and being told these speed humps have been budgeted, we still don't have speed humps 18 wheelers go through the neighborhood streets and are t looking for kids I have personally seen 18 wheelers traveling on Jeff Ave, Harris and Bryan Please let's do better for the children who live in this neighborhood and walk to and from school

Currently the City is using the parks for select events, along the lines of how a privately owned nature preserve may be open to the public a few times a year The City listed the pandemic as a reason for closing all the parks According to public health officials, COVID-19 will be with us for a long while What is the process East Point tax payers need to follow to obtain approval to use an East Point park for one or more events or for regularly occurring activities during this pandemic Thanks

What is the status of this abandoned, dilapidated home, which flows over an impaired stream, and is on the 50 Worst Properties list? The corporate owner has not been held accountable for keeping the property in good repair Code Enforcement holds property owners who live in the City of East Point accountable, but not corporate owners that are located out of town How is East Point addressing this issue? There is a drop off from the concrete in front of the impaired stream into the polluted stream This is a potential hazard for children in the neighborhood Please advise

Owner of dilapidated house on 50 Worst List needs to cut grass. Neighbors have to post SeeClickFix reports repeatedly over years for any yard maintenance to be done.

The abandoned house at 2431 Jefferson Terrace is a public health hazard. The property is open to the elements and the polluted South River stream, which includes sewage, flows through the abandoned structure. See photo. The structure is a fire hazard, a breeding ground for mosquitoes, a habitat for nuisance wildlife, and a blighted property which harms the community’s quality of life and property values. Please add this property to the City’s 50 Worst Properties List and begin the process of demolishing the structure.
