Dozens of streets closed from Forest Road all the way down 34/George Street to Church Street downtown, then again all throughout Yale and up to Prospect Hill. Saturday morning 9/10.
No signage, no explanation of closures, NHPD completely unhelpful in rerouting or explaining closures.
Nothing posted on city website, NH Register, NH Independent, etc.
What were the purpose of the closures? Extremely disruptive to anyone trying to navigate through almost half of the city.

Injured cat Archived161 Alden Ave New Haven, CT 06515, USA - WestvilleGrey striped cat with white belly, hit by a car on Alden Ave in front of 161. It got itself out of the street and into the backyard bushes of 161 Alden. No collar, but it's a regular in the neighborhood. At least one broken leg and internal injuries, with blood coming out of its mouth. If this is someone's car, please contact owners of 161 Alden.
