    Lisa Landon called the Mayor's Office to report commercial trucks parked in a residential neighborhood. She said she has tried to contact the trucking company and has called the Police Department on numerous occasions. Ms. Landon also mentioned that other residents in the area have complained about this issue. The problem is also occurring on Ridgewood Place. She asked that someone please call her at (203) 400-3159.

    Mary Jo called the Mayor's Office to report that her garbage was not picked up. She has been having problems with garbage pickup for several months. She also said that she has made numerous calls to the City and the problem is ongoing.

    Mrs. Rosemary Davis called the Mayor's Office to report 3 city trees in front of her home that have limbs that are very low and she is afraid they are going to fall on someone. She also mentioned that the sidewalk is lifted because of the overgrown roots. Mrs. Davis said that she has been complaining to the City for about 6 years about the trees and nothing has been done. She is very concerned that these trees are going to cause major problems and is asking that someone from the City, please contact her at (203) 803-3878 regarding this matter.

    Mrs. Sara Manzal (79 years old) of 165 Overland Avenue called the Mayor's Office because her recycling was not picked up. She mentioned that her recycling has been left in the past. Mrs. Manzal would like to get a call back from the City at (203) 372-8618.

    Mrs. Iris Maldonado of 41 Hanover Street called the Mayor's Office regarding a sewer line in the street that has a hole in it. She said she has been trying to get some help from the City to rectify the problem. Mrs. Maldonado also mentioned that there is a smell in her neighbor's basement at 43 Hanover Street, and it is starting to come over to her basement. She said that the Condo Association has no money and cannot help. Mrs. Maldonado is asking that someone please call her at (203) 673-6692. FYI - She lives with her very sick 65 year old husband and a daughter.

    Nancy Wilson of 55 Gurdon Street left a voice message at the Mayor's Office regarding a neighbor that lives right across the street from her home, who has had trash on his property for weeks. Apparently, the neighbor is the owner of Liberty Auto Electric. Mrs. Wilson did not leave a telephone number.

    A anonymous constituent called the Mayor's Office to report that there are mattresses, old furniture, etc. in front of 103 Black Rock Avenue. The constituent believes that those neighbors are moving out of the house and are throwing out bulk items.

    Mrs. Nancy Corr of 275 Roger Williams Road called the Mayor's Office regarding a blighted property across the street from her home. She said the owners moved out of the state and the property has been vacant for about 3 years. Mrs. Corr mentioned that the hedges & grass are overgrown and she has been complaining to the City for over a year. Apparently, the owners are still paying the mortgage, but, the property has not been cleaned. Mrs. Corr asked that someone from the City please call her back at (203) 372-2033.

    Mr. Rinaldo Smith called the Mayor's regarding a neighbor that he believes is running an illegal mechanic shop from his two car garage. He said that there is brake fluid running from that home and into the street. Mr. Smith also mentioned that the property is not being kept, there is garbage scattered all over the property. Furthermore, cars are being parked on the street for weeks. Mr. Smith will be sending pictures of the property to the Mayor's Office. He would like to get a call back at (203) 820-4066. FYI - Mr. Smith did contact the Zoning Department on this matter.

    The Mayor's Office is receiving complaints about a woman at 1196 Pembroke Street that is piling up garbage and other items in her property. The neighbors are complaining that the garbage is starting to smell and she continues to bring in more garbage. They believe the woman is mentally unstable because this problem has been occurring for about 9 years. The neighbors claim they have called the City numerous times and nothing has been done about it.

    The Mayor's Office received complaints about someone who is building a big wall at 26 Rosedale Street. Neighbors believe that the person is working on that project without a building permit.

    Mrs. Johnnie Mae Jenkins called the Mayor's Office regarding a city lot next door to her home. She said that the city has kept it clean for some time, but, in the last several months someone has been dumping big items, including furniture, piles of wood, bags of garbage, etc. Mrs. Jenkins is a senior and she is concerned that it is a fire hazard, plus, rats will start coming into her property. Mrs. Jenkins would like to get a call back from the City, she can be reached at (203) 345-3264.

    Mr. Michael Macowski called the Mayor's Office to request a garbage toter. He mentioned that he moved into his home on December 29, 2017. Mr. Macowski said that he & his girlfriend did all the necessary paperwork to request a toter on January 3, 2018. He also mentioned that he has been following up with Sanitation and they have been waiting for a toter for 3 months. FYI - they have been piling up their garbage bags on the side of their home.

    A constituent called the Mayor's Office to report potholes on William Street (running from Huntington Road to Roosevelt Street). The constituent mentioned that the potholes are getting bigger and bigger as time goes by.

    The Mayor's Office received several calls from constituents to report their streets have not been plowed. The following streets need plowing: Tollsome Place, Deman Circle, and 69 Russo Terrace (Dorcas White, a senior citizen said her driveway was plowed in by the City truck after her son took the time to clean out her driveway. She was very upset because she missed her doctor's appointment this morning.)

    Mrs. Deborah Watson (senior citizen) called the Mayor's Office to report illegal dumping in her area. She mentioned that the City recently cleaned the area where the dumping was done. Mrs. Watson believes that it is being done by neighbors at 85 & 89 Manila Place. She also said the dumping is getting worse and worse. They are also fixing cars in the street and cars are being parked for days by the person who is fixing the cars. Mrs. Watson was really upset about this situation and insisted on speaking with the Mayor about the problem.

    A constituent called the Mayor's Office to report a big ditch on the road. Apparently, the constituent has complained about it to the City for about 2 years. The constituent also mentioned that he works in the area and it is getting bigger and bigger each day.

    Mrs. Anne Havelick of 582 Shelton Street called the Mayor's Office to report illegal dumping at a property across the street from her home. She does not know if the property is owned by someone.

    Mrs. Lucy Rappeline (a senior citizen) called the Mayor's Office to report that her garbage toter broke. She mentioned that she did call Public Works to request a new one about a week ago. Mrs. Rappeline said her garbage pickup is on Tuesday and she has not gotten the new garbage toter.
