We had yet another accident at the corner of 13th Place and Taylor NE this morning. I live on 13th Place between Taylor and Shepherd and there are an inordinate number of accidents at this intersection, often involving kids and both residents and commuters. Several studies have been done but no solutions provided. Almost every accident involves someone going south on 13th Place, particularly during rush hour when traffic is backed up approaching the light at 13th St. Taylor Michigan. We as neighbors are requesting that 13th Place between Michigan Ave and Taylor St become a oneway street going north. Please advise how we can make this process move ahead.
