  • Forrest St Stoneham, Massachusetts - Stoneham

I don't recall what the sign is for but it was previously on Forrest St south west of 93. It was bent over the sidewalk most the summer which I reported here earlier. Maybe it was installed too close to the road? Anyways, it snapped a month ago or so, and now partially buried in the snow. More important, perhaps, where the sign was attached to the ground is now a piece of metal sticking out of the ground, and that may do some damage to the plow or whatever is used to clear the sidewalk.

The picture is obviously from before the storm.

It looks like this tree is a storm away from taking down the power lines on N Border Rd. The trunk looks compromised and it is leaning towards the power line. Maybe a a few ft at the base and 1 ft from the power lines. It looks worse than picture suggest.
  • 9 S Marble St Stoneham, Massachusetts - Stoneham

The guy in the red truck that plowed s marble st this winter piled the snow and dirt from meadow rd (which is a dirt road) onto my lawn. I removed about 2 wheelbarrow of dirt last weekend as it will kill the grass. He also moved one of the large stones we use to separate the rd from our lawn I understand my neighbor had already asked him to put it somewhere else.

Please advise what I need to do to protect my property from damage next year.

"Left lane must must turn left" is leaning right.
  • 225 Fallon Road Stoneham, Massachusetts - Stoneham

Coming off 93S and hitting the Fallon Rd / N Border Rd intersection, you have very little visibility of N Border Rd (towards Friendly's) at the stop-line. Is that on purpose?

You need to stop 6ft or so past the stop-line to safely turn left at that intersection. It is confusing as you also have to stay out the way for the traffic on N Border Rd going to 93N. Could the stop be moved to reflect reality? I realize that there is a complication with the stop sign as the curves right. Could the stop sign be moved across the st or does it have to be on the right inline with the stop-line?

Another option might be to move the fence that currently blocks the view.

You rarely have to content with traffic from the left with the new access road to 93N which is nice.

  • Bear Hill Trail Stoneham, Massachusetts - Stoneham

There is a lot of trash in the bear hill parking lot and at the entrance to the fells. After meters were installed sheepfold this entrance is seeing more use. Would it be possible to get a trash bin, and it emptied once in a while? Maybe Marjam will be interested in sponsoring? I routinely find trash from them in the fells.

I can only hike a couple of bags to the sheepfold bin at a time, and today I filled two bags with trash from just under the bridge.

The newly installed street signs for fallon rd / n border rd mounted on top of the stop sign appears to be falling off.
  • 2 South Marble Street Stoneham, Massachusetts - Stoneham
There is thick black cable across the st. Not sure if it is cable or power.
  • Meadow Rd Stoneham, Massachusetts - Stoneham

The Meadow Rd street sign on S Marble St has been damaged. It was most likely caused by the large delivery truck from Bob's Furniture backing up on S Marble St end of last week. (8/19 if I recall correctly).

The sign is on e pole where the road bends slightly, maybe it could be mounted higher out of reach of the trucks?
